"Lend Your Leg" is a campaign that encourages people worldwide by a simple but symbolic gesture of rolling up a pant leg or sleeve to stop the damage landmines still cause while showing solidarity with all survivors of landmines and other explosive remnants of war."

Hello, I need your help. I am a land mine victim from Bosnia Herzegovina. In Bosnia, there are even after more than 20 years after the end of the war, many landmines. That's why I'm telling many people on my journey through the world about the problems in my country and of the dangers of landmines. Help me. Tell your friends, your family, your colleagues and your boss of the landmine threat. Go with me to the newspaper or a radio station so that they hear from my mission. And go to politicians in your country that they seek to ensure that even in your country no more land mines will be produces or used by the army. Landmines kill for decades after a war. Let's do something together for a peaceful world – move it!!
I have been put in place by a youth group from Germany (Evangelical Youth Lübbecke). In Summer 2014 an other youth group from Evangelical Youth Lübbecke will travel to Crieff, Scottland and would like to see its "one-leg-bear" again, before its mission will be to travel to The White House in Washingtion DC. Hallo, ich brauche Deine Hilfe. Ich bin ein „Ein-Bein-Bär“ und ein Landminenopfer aus Bosnien Herzegowina. In Bosnien gibt es auch nach über 20 Jahren nach dem Ende des Krieges sehr viele Landminen. Darum bin ich auf der Reise durch die weite Welt um vielen Menschen von den Problemen in meinem Land und von den Gefahren von Landminen zu erzählen. Hilf mir dabei. Erzähle Deinen Freunden, Deiner Familie, Deinen Arbeitskollegen und Deinem Chef von der Landminengefahr. Geh mit mir zur Zeitung oder zu einer Radiostation, damit sie von meiner Mission erfahren. Und geh zu Politikern in Deinem Land, dass sie sich dafür einsetzen, dass auch in Deinem Land keine Landminen mehr produziert oder von der Armee eingesetzt werden dürfen. Landminen töten auch noch Jahrzehnte nach einem Krieg. Laß uns etwas gemeinsam für eine friedvollere Welt tun – move it!
Ich bin von einer Jugendgruppe aus Deutschland (Evangelische Jugend Lübbecke) auf den Weg gebracht worden. Im Sommer 2014 wird eine andere Jungendgruppe der Evangelischen Jugend Lübbecke nach Crieff, Scotland fahren und würde sich freuen, seinen "Ein-Bein-Bär" dort wieder zu sehen, bevor sein neues Reiseziel das Weiße Haus in Washington, DC sein wird.  Informationen zu mir und weiteren „Ein-Bein-Bären“ findest Du auf Facebook.
