Current Goal

Starting it's adventure in the Great State of Texas, this beautiful Colorado geocoin is hoping to travel all around the United States visiting lots of beautiful national and state parks along the way.  Hoping some day to make it back to Colorado and maybe even be found by its original owners (it could happen!).  Hope all who are lucky enough to find it will enjoy it and then help to keep it moving along on its journey.  

Update!!!   Here is is 2016, and tomorrow begins 2017 and a New Year!  This TB has been traveling for over three years now.  It's original hope was to travel around the United States visiting parks but times have changed!  So happy to have watched it's journey extend from the U.S. to Europe!  So...hope it continues it's world tour and then if it does come back to the U.S. that would be great!  No hurry!  Safe travels my beautiful coin!

This beautiful coin, a tribute to Colorado's Great Sand Dunes National Park, came as a gift from some dedicated CO geocachers.  It's my very first time to send a TB on it's maiden voyage so I'm really looking forward to following its progress.

Placed the geocoin in Sipoonkorpi National Park in South Finland. It's the 36th NP in Finland and quite new. Founded in 2011. Hope this GC gets to also see other beautiful parks in Finland. And hope it doesnt get stuck under the snow if it starts snowing at some point. Happy travels!

Happy to see my coin has been traveling the world! Started out hoping just to tour the US and visit parks but how great that it's gone so much further! Safe travels around the world and maybe someday come back and visit the US. No hurry! Happy New Year and Safe Travels!

Found this in a cache in Helsinki on NYE. I see it really would like to travel in the States, but someone took it overseas. A few days ago it landed in Finland and so I will take it to a National Park in Finland. :)
