Current Goal

I'd like to visit and have my picture taken in all the places humans connect with love and romance - Niagra Falls, Paris, The Empire State Building (you know - the one from "Sleepless in Seattle" movie!). If you have a romantic place in mind... let's go there and take our picture together!!

PS - There is a place where my master proposed to his lovely bride.... they say a really nice reward to the one who takes my picture at the site...good luck!

February 2003 UPDATE :

If you read the first notes on this traveler, the original cache he was placed in was plundered soon after he was launched with his friend 'Spike'. I have since found a replacement on an auction site so I am relaunching him to seek romantic places of the world. I hope this time he gets to travel.

Here's another romantic spot, at least for us. This is Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton, Mississippi, where we were married on a gorgeous spring day in 1993. If he plays his cards right, we'll celebrate 12 great years since that fateful day on May 22nd. :-)

We don't have any "universally romantic" places here in Jackson, Mississippi, so I thought I'd take Luv to a couple of our personal favorites. This is the place we went on our first date. Great place for an gyro, and it's in a great old house. On a very interesting sidenote, we have friends that also made a "luv connection" here. Seems she grew up in this house years ago - as we were telling him the story of our first date, he told us how he and Miss Sammie used to sit on the front porch during their courting days. Very sweet!

Hmmm, I'm getting married in 26 days . . . so if you don't mind me hanging on to him for a while, I may be able to get some 'romantic' pics with this guy . . . and then move him out of his long stay in UT, possibly to St. Louis. Unless you want me to place it sooner, in which case he'll just have to stay in another boring UT cache.
