To fly away as quickly and far as possible to beat our other trackable "The Woolley Wanderer" and two other trackables, "Tommy the Tortoise" and "Hopper the Hare" (belonging to The Granville School in Kent), in a race. We have high hopes for this trackable as the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest living creature on our planet. Let's hope this race isn't a re-run of the Aesop's fable, The Tortoise and the Hare!
This trackable belongs to Stretton Handley Primary School, Derbyshire, UK and is one of 2 trackables set off on a race from the school's cache GC42GVQ. See how we are doing on our race page.
Both our trackables sport the Derbyshire county flag and this one is attached to a keyring with the logo of the Derby Cathedral Peregrine Project. Peregrines have nested on Derby Cathedral since 2006 and webcams allow thousands of viewers from around the world to watch as they raise their young each year. Our children are avid followers of the Derbyshire Peregrines and hope this Peregrine trackable will win the race.
