Current Goal

This Travel Bug is a depiction of a Knabstrupper, an ancient Danish breed spotted horse, that is related to the American Appaloosa.  The Knabstrupper originated in prehistoric Spain.  My filly "Buttons" was a few spot leopard Appaloosa that closely resembles the Knabstrupper. My goal for this little spotted horse Travel Bug ("Buttons Too") is to travel to Denmark, Spain, Missolula, Montana where Buttons parents were bred; to Moscow, Idaho, where the Nez Perce Indians refined the Appaloosa breed and then on to any cache near a Knabstrupper or Appaloosa horse farm.  "Buttons Too" is not camera shy, so please take pictures of her travels and post them. Thank you!

Photo taken in Woodland Park, Colorado, where we live and close to our home, have a very good view of Pikes Peak. At 14,100 feet (4300 meters), Pikes Peak was the inspiration to Katharine Lee Bates who, in 1895, wrote "America the Beautiful". In the attached photo, Pikes Peak is the tallest mountain, near the center of the picture. Photo taken from 38° 59.343'N 105° 3.695'W
