Current Goal

Hi!! I'm "Oscar-The Blue Heron".  My species likes to keep to themselves and stand around swampy water eating frogs and such.   Well that's for the birds!!  Get it?? The Birds??  Ok,  so I am not too much of a stand up comic when it comes to bird humor.  But considering I am a converted lapel pin, I think I am doing a pretty good job.  My life started in the Cleveland Metroparks and I had a great time there.   But now its time for me to spread my wings and leave the rookery.   Thats where you come in.   I am on a quest, that being to visit parks.  It doesn't matter what kind of park, just needs to be outdoors.   Big park, small park, water park, dog park.  I don't mind what it is, just take me along when you go!!  Snap a picture or two while we are out on our adventure and lets see where I end up after what I hope will be a long and fun filled quest!!  Thanks for helping me out on this.  ~Oscar~

Oscar wanted to visit parks, so we took him to the nicest park in Michigan. Tahquamenon Falls park has 2 separate waterfall areas and a 4 mile hiking trail connecting them. He is now resting in the midpoint of the trail, a cache appropriately titled Two Mile Mark.
