Current Goal

To make it back to Eden Prairie, MN but he's in no rush! He'd like to have his picture taken in as many tourist places as he can!

About This Item

#2 Polish ready to race!

Unfortunately Polish is no longer himself (in fact I think he's just a chain with laminated tag that some other cacher was kind enough to add). Just like that hamburger or hot dog that falls through the grate and onto the grills, sounds like the hot dog body is gone. But like heartburn, he lives on in our hearts (or at least close by). I'm hoping to get the two remaining sausages (Polish & Hot Dog) back to Minneapolis to get them new 'bodies' along with the two sausages TB that have gone missing, add Chorizo (the newest racing sausage) and start a new sausage race. Unfortunately they no longer make the bendy racing sausages so I'm trying to find the body for all of them. If some nice cacher would like to give Polish a temporary body in the interim, it would be most appreciated (as people are much more like to take a tb with a body instead of just a chain). Once it gets back to Minneapolis, I make the temporary body a new travel bug.

#2 Polish, aka Staush is a Polish sausage and wears dark sunglasses and a blue and red rugby shirt. (I initially though he was a hot dog!) Polish had a huge disadvantage in that he was place in a cache that was on an adventure hike, but it looks like he is moving now!

Previous goal: The Sausage Race back to Little Cache on the Prairie in Eden Prairie, MN... We dropped off 4 travel bugs (#1 Brat, #2 Polish, #3 Italian, #4 Hot Dog) in Hawaii when we got married in November of 2006 (two on Kauai and two on Molokai) and wanted to see who made it back to Eden Prairie first before we send them out on their next mission. The figures used are from the Milwaukee Brewer's Sausage Race.

My caching journey in Mobridge was quite unsuccessful! I tried to email a couple of cachers there to see if they would place him for me, but no one has ever responded (very disappointing trip). I will take him to a Tb motel on the interstate to get him going again! I am so SORRY I let you down!
Left him at Oin Junction TB Motel.

😮 Was shocked to learn that poor old polish has been sitting in an unmarked place (Douglas Railroad Interpretive Center) for quite some time! I think he's rested long enough! He and I are going to Mobridge SD- It's a little closer to home and maybe somebody else will help him from there! Happy Trails! Willox 96&crew

We'll give Polish #2 a little R&R, a back and leg rub, and maybe a little Gatorade to get him ready for his next leg of the race.

Picked this TB up from a great Railroad park in Douglas, WY. We will move it to a new cache soon.
