Die Originalcoin bleibt in unserer Sammlung.
Anlässlich der "Mission GC43" nahm Compubaer eine Kopie dieser Coin mit nach Irland. Dort startete sie im ältesten Cache Europas zu ihrer Reise nach Nepal, um vielleicht einmal die höchsten Berge der Erde sehen zu können. Die Owner hoffen auf interessante Logeinträge mit einigen Fotos. Vor allem aber soll die Kopie nicht verloren gehen!
The original Coin remains in our collection.
On the occasion of the "Mission GC43" Compubaer took a copy of this coin to Ireland. There she started in the oldest cache in Europe for her trip to Nepal, to see perhaps once the highest mountains on earth. The owners hope for interesting log entries with some photos. Above all, the copy should not be lost!
Die Coin ist Edmund Hillary und Tenzing Norgay, den beiden Erstbesteigern gewidmet, die am 29. Mai 1953 den Gipfel des Mount Everest erreichten.
Auf der Vorderseite sind Edmund Hillary und Tenzing Norgay auf dem Gipfel dargestellt.
Die Rückseite der Mount Everest Geocoin stellt den Weg der Entdecker zum Gipfel mit den verschiedenen Camps dar und gibt die Gipfelkoords an.
Die Coin ist 44 mm groß und 3 mm dick.
