Great Big World

Carl is off to sniff his way across America! He wants to visit all 48 continental states of the United States of America! And if he ends up in Alaska and/or Hawaii, that would be cool too! Please help me track him across the country by passing on some stories of your time with Carl and by taking some pictures of him. He loves to meet new canine friends, as long as they play gentle (he's just a little guy and has a long way to go). I would love to see him visiting some of our nation's most famous landmarks! Thanks for you help everyone! Have a safe trip, Carl!

Also also, please do not show the TB number in your photos! I don't want Carl to get charged for traveling long distances if he doesn't go there!

Update: Carl is back from his hiatus! He was placed in a different cache than was on the log. I hadn't heard from him in over a year. I'm very happy he's turned up safe and is back on his way. I was also fortunate enough to be in the same area with Carl on my way down to the Springs. So I dropped in to say hello! Gute Reise, Carl!

Well, Carl and I have been flying around the 4-Corners for the past two weeks. He has been with me in AirCare 1 and AirCare 2, a rotor-wing and fixed-wing air ambulance. We have been to Durango, CO, Cortez, CO, Denver, CO, Tucson, AZ, Gallup, NM, Albuquerque, NM, Dulce, NM, Shiprock, NM and various points in between. Carl got to ride in both aircraft and even made two very ill children smile as well as comforted a 7 year old boy who had severe burns to his legs and right arm. Carl was quite the hit on several trips. I have uploaded a few pictures of Carl with both aircraft. He even spent some time with Lucy my yellow Lab. It's time to turn him loose and let him continue his travels. I will place him in a nice warm cache in the next couple of days.

Took Carl home with me for a little TLC and to spend some time traveling with me. Will update you on our travels and then send him on his way soon. MedicPat

Dropped Carl the Dog off at the Farmington Bug Port so he can continue his travels. Prior to FBP, we went to Four Corners and allowed Carl to visit Arizona and Utah-brings his state total to 4 and allowed us to pick up a couple of caches too!

My two Cache Hounds went with me on the Anasazi Friend cache. When Carl the Dog saw two playmates, he hopped a ride and went on in to Farmington with us. We'll look around a bit and then find Carl another cache to hang with!
