Chidlren's Holy Love Necklace and Travel Bug

To travel to other caches spreading an awareness of the world's children as well as acts of kindness during times of both great challenges and need.

In May 2008 a large earthquake devastated one of the most densely populated areas in China, the Sichuan Provence. Approximately 80,000 people perished. Schools collapsed killing almost every child in some of the towns - the world watched in horror as over 2 million people were displaced and even more effected by a series of aftershocks that continued afterward. To put this in terms of that "westerners" can understand; if this were to happen in the USA, it would be as if every person in the state of New Mexico (36th most populous U.S. state) was no longer able to make a living and 1 person for every 25, died. The Holy Love Necklace that is attached to this travel bug is from the Holy Love School for Special Needs Children in Chengdu (Sichuan) China. On the front its reads "Sheng Ai" (Holy Love) and on the back it reads (in Chinese and English) "Holy Love Foundation, Chengdu Sichuan." The Holy Love Foundation is dedicated to the advocation and support of Special Needs children in mainland China.

9/04/2011 Update: Re-releasing this very special TB but with its copy tag and a "Special commemorative coin of the Qi Shi  Hi Huang Mausoleum and pits of terra cotta warriors and horses, a world cultural heritage."It was presented to me during a foreign visit - special recognition ceremony. I hope you all enjoy it and that it travels far reminding people of this very special place and its children.
