The Dark Cell Poltergeist: Dopey Duck and I checked out the gift shop first then headed down to the cemetery to get the needed info. Then we peers over the wall to get a picture then moved to the right spot. We used our geosenses and followed the footprints right to GZ. Nothing spooky here.

Yuma Armed Forced Memorial Park: I liked how this Memorial Park honors both past and present military. My favorite part is the Eagle Scout project of a dedicated fire pit to retire flags. Beautiful place.

~Ocean to Ocean~: Like many others, Dopey Duck and I are in town for the SWAG Mega event and are caching our way through Yuma before and after. This is a cool bridge and a nice park. I think if I lived in Yuma, I’d spend a lot of time over here. Emailing answers to CO. TFTC.

Welcome to Arizona: Dopey Duck and I are in town for the Mega event and ended up logging 27 caches today including this one. We didn’t have an appropriate TOTT in our bag but were able to improvise with the materials nearby.

Arizona’s First Flight: I loved caching after the event. It seemed everywhere you looked there was a gaggle of cachers not looking suspicious at all 😉 I loved learning about AZ first flight and after sitting in the car all morning, enjoyed the walk. TFTC.

Red Box: Got to GZ and someone gave us a hint. I don’t know if DopeyDuck and I would have found it otherwise. Once found, it was super tough to open due to the tiny stones. Alas, we persevered and we’re able to sign the log.

SWAG’s Yuma Mega #15: Dopey Duck and I drove out to Yuma from Orange and San Diego Counties for the Mega event. Decided to grab some other caches before stopping at the event only to realize we lost an hour with the time zone. D’oh. Only and hour or so to go in the event. Rushed through the lab caches, grabbed some bugs-not many left- and did an abbreviated shopping stint. Missed several of the caches in the park as well but today we did find 27 caches, no DNFs and found 8 different categories. Not bad for a day trip. Next year I think we’ll stop at the event first though.
