To visit extra-challenging caches with you and be left there for other cachers to move on.
It was all Scoobie10's idea. A "crack commando unit of cachers" sent out to challenge one of the most legendary hides of all time: The Journal. He wanted to assemble a group of the elite, the best...top cachers who were up for the challenge of spending ONE day hiking through miles of woods in level 5 terrain, solving puzzle after puzzle until they finally reached the coveted final cache.
Those guys couldn't make it....so he got us instead.
We dubbed ourselves "The J-Team" and set out early in the morning on April 19, 2004.
Note: As of the writing of this travelbug page I have no idea if we survived or not. I might not even be able to type on the 20th, so I'm setting this page up ahead of time.
The J-Team is:
Scoobie10: Our fearless leader...the man with the plan...the man who has done the research it will take to find The Journal. Most importantly, though, he's the guy who's driving.
Duncan Idaho: A man of action, a man of cunning...a man named after a donut and a state. He came very close to being called "Krispy Oklahoma."
CYBret Rumored to be insane. But in this crazy mixed-up world, who are we to say who's sane and who's insane anyway? We're the National Institute of Mental Health! That's who!
SmtyColt Our gruff but lovable hard-nosed psychopath. Just remember, he don't take no jibba jabba, fool!

TAKE US WITH YOU!!!
Now that we've seen The Journal, we've got a taste for blood! We want to see more tough caches. So, take us with you to a tough cache and leave us there for the next cacher to move on. We may have to sit a while, but that's ok. After The Journal we could probably use the rest!
