Current Goal

  • This geocoin is currently missing in action, it seems, having been removed from it's last know location without logging.  Hopeful that the coin shows up again.  If you currently have it, please log it. :)


This coins mission is to travel as far and wide as possible, ideally visiting locations and caches with a country, western, farming, ranching, cowboy connection.  

However, if a 'themed' drop is difficult to find, then please just move the coin along to a new spot, allowing it to see new sights along it's path. :)

About This Item

In memory of my Grampa Charlie, affectionately known as the Chu Chua Cowboy, who lived and ranched outside of Barriere, British Columbia, in a community called Chu Chua.  He passed away in 2001, but lives on in fond memory of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

This geocoin began it's life in a cache called Chu Chua Cowboy near my home in Kelowna BC.  The starting cache is themed, including items related to western culture, cowboys/girls, farming, ranching etc.  This acoustic guitar coin fits right in, as Grampa always enjoyed hearing, and dancing to, a good country western song.

Grampa would have probably said that this geocaching business is "bughouse", but I think he'd also get a kick out of seeing where in the world this coin travels.
