Feel free to take me to any local river!
The San Clemente Dam is on the Carmel River near Monterey, California. It is a dam that has been approved to be removed so the river can flow free once again. This is a piece of the actual dam.
The Carmel River Reroute & San Clemente Dam Removal (CRRDR) Project is the culmination of a long-term effort to resolve the public safety issues associated with the existing San Clemente Dam, while improving access for steelhead to upstream spawning and rearing habitat, sediment transport to the lower river and Carmel River beach, and ecological continuity of aquatic and riparian habitats through the project reach.

Overlooking the Mississippi River
Wanted to see rivers, so I figured a stop at the Mississippi River was in order. Cache isn't big enough to leave it here, so I'll keep it traveling east with me.
This guy wants to visit a river? We'll take him with us, we live right next to the Connecticut River.
Very cool TB! Safe and sound with some friends in http://coord.info/GCVF83.
I did a maintenance check of my cache (GCVF83) today and this travel bug is still there! -- ORR
