I heard the call for help on the Podcacher mid-week micro and saw that this bug was a few miles from where I work. I also happen to teach night classes at a local college in San Marcos that is only a mile or so from the Podcacher Treasure Cache. So I decided to help out with this travel bug. I started out at around 5:00am so I could get it and a few other caches in the area so it was dark when I got to the cache. I grabbed the bag with the log but did not see the dog tag was missing until I got back to my car! So during lunch I went back to the cache to look for the tag. It was sitting at the very bottom of the cache unattached from the chain. Whew.. so both parts are now back together. I will drop it off in its destination later on today.

  • Look what I found I found this very nice antler on my way back to find the travel bug's tag. If you look closely you can even see the deer tracks.

Grabbed this bug but discovered when I got to my car discovered the tags were not in the plastic bag. I'll go back during lunch to see if they fell out of the plastic bag in the cache.
