This display is to be featured at:

August 29-31, 2008 in Vienna, VA

NWBrickCon 2008  BrickCon

October 2-5, 2008 in Seattle, WA

Instructions: In fairness to the concept of Geocaching which uses latitude and longitude, I am offering a location in stud coordinates with (N 1, W 1) being the lower right hand corner. The 1st number represents the “Latitude” or how far in the display the cache is. The 2nd number represents the “Longitude”, or how far left. Assume you’re facing North. Like all Geocache coordinates – there may be a slight error in the coordinates (in this case intentional). Refer to the cache examples display to see what a LEGOcache might look like. The numbers in brackets [3/3], for example, refer to a difficulty/terrain challenges with 5 being the hardest.

LCTW01 – Pond's Edge Cave (Regular) [1.5/1.5] (N 10 , W 4)
Hint: This cache is very well covered. Please remember to cover it back up when you leave.
Inspiration: Cinco de Mine (GC12NXD) in Ringwood State Park, NJ

LCTW02 – Stumped (Regular) [2/1.5] (N 6, W 15)
No Hint Provided
Inspiration: The Canyon (GC19RRQ) in Watchung Reservation, New Jersey

LCTW03 – LEGO Nature Preserve (Regular) [1/1] (N 5, W 53)
Hint: Watch Your Step
Inspiration: LINDEN HILL (GC16Z0E) in Sheridan, WY

LCTW04 – Tree Cave (Small) [4/3] (N 9, W 11)
Hint: Depending on how close you are to the MOC you may have to look very carefully for this one.
Inspiration: Sky Top Cave (GC1BPAG) in Watchung Reservation, NJ

LCTW05 – Ivy League (Small) [2.5/3] (N 10, W 56)
Hint: Well covered by its surroundings, try looking behind the vegetation.
Inspiration: Roberts Last Stand (GCV3BY) in Staten Island, NY

LCTW06 – Shady Spot (Regular) [1.5/2] (N 27, W 35)
No Hint Provided
Inspiration: The Half Moon Didn’t Come This Way (GCQ2R7) in Leonardo, NJ

LCTW07 – Boardwalk (Micro) [1/1] (N 8, W 63)
Hint: Take a stroll along Boardwalk. Remember to take lots of pictures until you run out of film.

LCTW08 – Rock Pile (Small) [2/3.5] (N 30, W 65)
Hint: Terrain markings are high – because this one may be quite hard to see in the audience.
Inspiration: The Pigtail Bridge’s (GCC330) near Mt. Rushmore, SD

LCTW09 – No need to Bushwhack (Regular) [1.5/1.5] (N 19, W 55)
Hint: Located after the boardwalk. I suppose you could whack the bush with a stick.

LCTW10 – LEGOCaching Through the Woods [3/1.5] (N 21, W 18)
No Hint Provided
Inspiration: The Canyon (GC19RRQ) in Watchung Reservation, New Jersey

Now I have been to LEGOLAND
And this is a project just as grand
As anything that I've seen there
In fact as a TB it's beyond compare!
I found the caches without the hints
(Might have found extras that really inn't)
Definitely the star of the table
I salute your talent able!
And thanks again for having an event
For those of us who GeoWoodstock !went.

(!went = bang-went = that's techie/math notation for didn't go)

Re the boardwalk cache description:
whacking bushes with a stick! that's MUCH better than using our heads and arms and legs... I'll keep it in mind (believe me, Central Texans can find a way to bushwhack IN a parking lot... we're talented that way)

ANYWAY, perused this clever thing at the I'd rather be in Austin than attend Geowoodstock! event, then very much enjoyed chatting with you, the owner! Well done! [Both on the TB and the event]

And thank you!
