I am in a race that starts October 22, 2016 at the 12th Annual Florida Finders Fest and goes to October 21, 2017 at the 13th Annual Florida First Finders Fest.
I need to gain as many miles as I can and then return to the Ocala National Forest in Ocala, Florida.
Please do not put me in hard to do or seldom found caches as I need to continue to move and pick up many many miles to win this race.
Please DO NOT hold onto me, keep me moving!

Doing some solo birthday camping here. Florida winters are not like this. When I booked the site, the weather was predicted to be 50s in the day and 40s at night. Though weather predictions are almost never correct...I certainly was not prepared for 10 degrees. But I survived.
The hiding spot looks like it may be damaged. Log slightly damp. Rehid cache as found. But I think CO may want to check on it.

My mother is working a contract nearby. Got here last night from Florida to drop off my dad and my pup to stay with her.
Quick/easy P&G after getting gas nearby. Couldn't sign log, as it was frozen. We don't have this problem in Florida! Will send a picture to CO as proof of find. Headed down to NJ now.

If I was doing a cleanup of this trail...I wouldn’t think twice about this container just being garbage. I was tempted to remove it right now...but I’ll settle for marking it for needing maintenance. I’m pretty sure kind of container isn’t allowed. Waterlogged contents make it impossible to sign log.

Instead of doing entire trails, I opted to hike enough to find a cache at each...then go back where he waited. 3rd vortex hike of the day.
