This is a girl scout badge I got when I was a kid. It's from the World of Well-Being series in 1990. This badge represents Self-Esteem. I'm passing this on to help promote well-being and growth, and as we have accomplishments in life we should be proud. So please take a picture as you complete a personal goal then pass it on for the next cacher to find! 

This is a small circular badge, with a red border and a #1 award picture.

I retrieved this from the geocache box and had the perfect activity in mind to highlight the Goal of the Merit badge....Personal Achievements. I carried the Travel Bug with me the next day during a very hard fought WIN in the Southeast Regional Championship Mountain bike race at Ft. Yargo! 8D

It takes years of dedication to training and eating well etc....to win one of these races, everybody is fast, everybody is training hard, and everybody wants to win!...but it can be done! :-)

I was in the XC2 class 40-49.

I hate to pass along such a wonderful good luck charm, but my son and I will do just that ASAP.

  • Carried during 1st place finish-mountain bike race Carried the Tag and badge with me during the Southeast Regional Championship Race (SERC) 2015 1st Place XC2 40-49
  • In my left hand on the podium! The tag and the badge we held high on the podium! 1st Place! :-)

I made the pass for 1st in the final mile of a 17-18 mile race!
