"I've Got To Race" is
competing in a Race and his current goal is to travel to
Texas.
Please help him circumnavigate the
conterminous United States, making some required "stops" along the way.
Please take pictures and tell a story of your
adventures as you help him with his travel. Thank you.
These are some of the rules:
Travel bugs will follow a counter-clockwise route around the US. The required
stops are at lease one cache placement in the following states: California
(starting state and cache), Texas, Florida, Maine, Minnesota, Washington, and
back to the starting cache IN THAT ORDER. The bugs must trace the states in this
order so any skipping of these goal states means backtracking. All other states
and countries can be skipped. Bugs must be physically placed in a cache in each
state visited. No "I was here with the bug" logs, someone else has to retrieve
the bug after placement. After the start, no TB racer owners can handle ANY of
the racers. The actions of third parties are not under the owners' control. They
have a long race to run, so negative interference is not encouraged. Please be
considerate and fair to the racers and help them on the way. After the start, no
more than two race bugs may be placed in any given cache.
Please see the race web page for more
details:

Do not hold him more than one week, try to place the same
day if possible. If you are going to THE NEXT state on his route email me and
let me know. The states in his route must be traced in order, so please do not
take him to a state that he has to back track from. please do not alter his
travel papers or add any other tags of any form without first emailing me.
