Current Goal

I was designed over 60 years ago to travel the world and enable people to explore the most remote places.  In honor of the last Land Rover Defender produced in 2015 I'd like to see this travel bug bring the Defender back to its birthplace in Solihull, UK first and after that roam to see all outposts in the world. Post pictures of my travel so we can enjoy the journey.

HUE 166 (Huey) is the world's oldest Land Rover and an automotive icon.  It was conceived 65 years ago at Red Wharf Bay on the north Wales island of Anglesey. In the summer of 1947 that Maurice Wilks (then technical chief of Rover) came up with the idea of a world-conquering vehicle to kick-start exports for the ailing Rover car company.  The idea took off and the Land Rover became the quintesential 'safari' vehicle.  2015 marks the final year of this automotive icon.
