DuckCommanderWannaBe wants to see the home of Duck Commander, Louisiana, and to be photographed with popular duck hunting spots around the world.
This trackable is a duck call, for those of you that don't know. The brand, Lohman, is a traditional call, meaning the brand had been around for a long time. Lohman calls are a division of "Flambeau Outdoors"; Flambeau sells other plastic calls and decoys as well. These calls are Louisiana style duck calls; there is a wedge of wood (this one is plastic) placed on top of the tone board and reed that has been pushed into the barrel to hold everything in place. Lohman makes nice calls but the one I'm using for this trackable is on the lower end of the spectrum.
P.S.
DO NOT BLOW INTO THE DUCK CALL!!! It's not that it won't break, I assure you it works (not very well) but because you have moisture in your breath. The water droplets collect in the call making the call, well, gross. They do come in two pieces but I had to glue them together so it wouldn't fall apart on its travels, so don't try to pull it apart. Thanks!
