About This Item

The Revenant Movie Trackable

Inspired by true events, The Revenant is an immersive and visceral cinematic experience capturing one man’s epic adventure of survival and the extraordinary power of the human spirit. In an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness, legendary explorer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team. In a quest to survive, Glass endures unimaginable grief as well as the betrayal of his confidant John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy). Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, Glass must navigate a vicious winter in a relentless pursuit to live and find redemption. The Revenant is directed and co-written by renowned filmmaker, Academy Award winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman, Babel).

This winter, in association with Geocaching HQ, Twentieth Century Fox Filmed Entertainment has hidden a series of artifacts from The Revenant movie in select cities across The United States, Mexico, Europe and Australia. Twenty “The Revenant Movie Trackable” prop packages have been hidden for the Geocaching community to find and discover lost treasures from the film. As the movie props travel from location to location, Geocachers are encouraged to log their find and place it in a new geocache to continue the movie prop’s journey. Geocachers are also encouraged to share their find via social media by posting a photo of their find using #TheRevenant

I'm little enough I could fit in this TB for its next adventure!!!!!
Mom decided that I shouldn't go adventuring without her though.
Thanks for letting me discover this. I've never seen a movie yet. But one day I'll be big enough!

Welcome to Mount Seymour in North Vancouver, BC.
Many adventures ahead, but we've had a great day in the mountain wilderness today.

  • Mr. LANMonkey hiking the North Shore mountains... Carrying our TBs in The Revenant satchel.
  • The Revenant TB satchel on the trail... A rustic bridge seemed a fitting spot while we hiked the North Shore mountains.
  • Just Hanging Around... Taking a break on the trail; that survival knife serves many purposes with old logs & satchels...
  • Hanging off a rustic trail bridge... ...on our hike in the North Shore mountains. We'll miss "hanging" with this trackable once we move it on to the next lucky cacher!
