The Ugly Pig

So now you ask yourself, why Mozambique. I'll tell you.

My 2-year old son found this pig in a cache, and it is WITHOUT QUESTION the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. Note its timid expression... its hot Barbie pink toes and nose... its udders... and the bloody tongue in its mouth. This pig is either possessed or just plain evil.

Now a sane person would throw it away. Not me! I want this thing as far as possible from my house --- which, in January 2004, means the Barra90 Cache in Mozambique --- the furthest cache from my house on the planet.

But that doesn't mean you can't give this guy a little scare along the way.

GEOCACHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO :

Take pictures of The Ugly Pig in front of places that will scare him! (E.G. slaughterhouses, meat packing factories, rows of bacon in the supermarket.) Use your imagination.

GET HIM OUT OF HERE!

I found ugly pig at Sandras bank.
Though this is a beautiful place ugly pig did not seem to enjoy the view. I gave it some grass to eat, but it still looked weired. So I introduced ugly pig to some collegues on a farm. But the mood didn´t change. Next I decided to go for mountaineering near a wonderful lake. As it is use in Austria you drink Schnaps (Austrian Whiskey) to celebrate the summit and what a surprise: on top of Seespitz ugly pig had a smile on his face for the first time. From that moment nobody could stop ugly pig anymore. After several Schnaps pig`s mood had changed 180°. It was staggering around telling dirty jokes, dancing and finally started to jodle. Totally drunk it also managed to get an Austrian hat with Gamsbart ! It was great ! But the thing is: it didn´t stop since ! Now I got this alcoholic at my place and I have no quiet moment anymore. Pig hasn´t stopped jodeling since three days. So I will put it into another cache as soon as possible. Maybe the scare therapy that was recommended is the better way: Pig is then sad but QUIET !!
