This 2006 Experience Minnesota Geocoin was hand-delivered to me by my dear friend Centris. She did a fantastic job designing and minting this coin, and I was lucky enough to receive the first batch of coins released to anyone outside the Centris household, just after they arrived. I am truly honored to be able to launch this one as "MN#2" -- you are holding the second-ever Experience Minnesota coin to be activated and released to the public! This is the "Green"-backed coin, given out by Centris for trades only, and is the very first of this type to be released for travel.

This coin is free to travel from cache to cache, and I'm hoping lots of people will get a chance to see and enjoy it. It's goal is simply to gather many miles, stories, and adventures as it travels - pictures are always welcome, and thanks for keeping it moving!

    Discovered this on our first geocaching hunt!

    My 6 year old boy was fascinated by this coin, and wanted very much to keep it. We have finally talked him into the fun it will be to share it with others.... at least we think we did....

    We will find a good place for it!

    Sorry it took me so long to drop it off. I was hoping to drop it off in Milwaukee, but I didn't have the time when I was down there.

    Considering it was lost on a Hawaiian beach, I'm not sure how glad it is to be found but back in Minnesota in winter ;)

    I should have set this to grab it from the get go (post dating this entry). Anyway, I have it and didn't have a chance to drop it off in Milwaukee and I've had this thing too long. So I'm going to drop it off at a 'local' cache for me tomorrow morning (1/5).

    I was at the Keep it a Secret Cache and was heading down when I saw some plastic near the cache, I pick it up and it's a geocoin...

    Didn't have internet access till today to check on the bug. Can drop it off in Molokai or bring it back to Minnesota...

    We retrieved this item in Kaua'i, in hopes of bringing it to Pennsylvania, but it has gone missing after a mishap with our luggage. Our apologies.

    Team Brakio of Lancaster, PA, retreived the coin while on vacation in Kaua'i. Unfortunately, our luggage was lost and then damaged, on the way home, and things are missing...including the coin. We are hopeful that it WILL turn up some day, but the hope is fading. Keep your fingers crossed!
