Current Goal

The Right Sock TB is to go right of where it is, which means it is to go east. Once it makes it to the Atlantic Ocean, it is to turn around and head west, back to Wisconsin.

About This Item

The pair before their journeys

Since the owner of this TB can never keep a pair of matching socks, they might as well split up right away and go in opposite directions. The right sock is going east, and the left sock, called Left Sock Travel Bug, is going west, returning to WI after it gets to the Pacific Ocean. Hopefully they can meet again. If you are the person who starts this sock from the Atlantic Ocean back to Wisconsin, please put a note on it saying that it is to go west.

As noted in the logs for the cache where it was last dropped, it appears that your trackable has gone missing. I am moving your trackable to an "unknown location." (This option is also available to the cache owner and the owner of a travel bug or geocoin.) If it ever turns up again, the finder can grab it back without affecting the mileage. Picked up right sock at beautiful Rose Valley lake. Cache was really wet and some items were rusting. Noticed sock was wet and very musty smelling. I will wash and put inside a clean and dry plastic storage bag. Will send it West in a few days. -jipsi59
