Found this travel bug on top of Goodman Mountain! We've taken the bug back to the Niagara Falls, NY region, which is an area rich in Native American history. We'll be sure to take a few pictures at various Native American sites over the next few days before placing it in another geocache site.

In keeping with the owners request, we will now submit our Dream Catcher photos. Love the Dream Catcher story and when we were in New Mexico we bought them for our kids. The first photo shows the dreamcatcher with the famous Adirondack guide, Mitchell Sabattis, a full blooded Abenaki Indian who lived in Long Lake. The next photos are taken at Stoney Creek, which is a very important waterway connection that is the closest portage between the Raquette and the Saranac Rivers. Known as Indian Carry, this portage was frequented by Native Americans and early sportsman in the area. And surely by Mitchell Sabattis himself. For more information on the area and Mitchell Sabattis log onto the Adirondack Museum website or visit the museum. There is also a cache hidden on Stoney Creek itself called RPA-15 Stoney Creek.

The Dream Catcher had a very short visit at "Hail to the Sunrise". I have a special cache in mind for it, if I can only get out that way now.
