To travel around and do fun stuff that kids like to do.
This is our nephew Kyle. At the time that this travel bug is being being released, Kyle is three and a half years old. He is a wheelchair-bound special-needs little boy, and this is going to be his way of getting out and seeing the world.
He'd love to travel far and go sightseeing -- maybe to places like the Grand Canyon, or Yellowstone, or the Statue of Liberty, Disney World, etc. He'd also love to do anything that kids normally like to do -- go to birthday parties, the beach, the movies, the circus, amusement parks, picnics, camping, or just playing out in the back yard with other kids. Please take and post lots of pictures of Ramblin' Boy on his adventure!
Ramblin' Boy is not in any big hurry to race from cache to cache. He'd rather spend a few leisurely weeks with each of his new friends, having his picture taken doing fun stuff along the way.

I'm writing to say that I still have Ramblin' Boy. We have been going on many adventures. He went to the symphany with my 4th grade class, dressed up for Halloween with my dogs, and got to go to Alaska where I wanted to drop him off. Spent a very cold afternoon looking for a perfect spot to drop him off up there, but none of the caches were big enough to hold him. I will post a few pictures tonight and others when I get them scanned. My personal goal is to send Ramblin' Boy on his way by the end of the week. I am looking for the perfect cache to put him in.

Retrieved Ramblin' Boy from Sissy's Pouch today. We plan on doing LOTS of fun stuff together. Halloween is right around the corner and I'm sure a snowboarding trip or two will happen in the very near future. He even will get to hang out in a 4th grade classroom this week. I am excited he gets to accompany me on some fun adventures!

We had a great time with Ramblin' Boy. He was very well behaved and a joy to travel with. He did not have any trouble traveling on the ship and did not get sea sick. We dropped him off in a shady spot in Bermuda as it can get pretty hot. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

We went out to the Ramblin' River cache to retrieve Ramblin' Boy. We thought he would enjoy starting out his adventures with a cruise to Bermuda. 😎 We'll be sure to post some pictures and hope you and your nephew enjoy them.
