The challenge of this bug is for cachers to help him travel around, and to get him into strange and unusual situations. Don't forget to post pictures!
This bug was once a beloved childhood toy called Omnibot. When I was a kid in the late 70's - early 80's, this was a really technologically advanced toy. I recently tried to refurbish it for my daughter, with zero success. The next best thing I could think of was a travel bug.
Keep in mind, this is a HUGE travel bug (see pictures below). In some situations it may be best to leave him near the cache, rather than in it. If you do this, make sure to hide him a bit, so that he doesn't give away the cache location. This would be a good bug to trade at cache events, etc. Have fun with him.

I discovered this traveller at the UTAG Recognition event which was held to recognize the efforts of several cachers who have donated time and effort to keep the Utah Association of Geocachers (UTAG) up and running. The event featured good friends, good food and good times for all, as usual.

Picked him up at the event tonight. Largest TB I've ever seen. We'll let my students enjoy him for a while and then try to find a good place to leave him.

It's been fun having CachBot stay with us for a while but it is time for him to move along. We hope he is happy with his new friend: Aim High!
Happy Caching CacheBot! Maybe we'll meet again some day.
