Retrieve It from a Cache 10/6/2002 Abraxas retrieved it from Four Corners Cache Colorado   Visit Log

Grabbed this just before they closed the park.

I see he has already been to California, but that is where I am returning. . .Whoops. I'm betting he'd rather hang out there instead of the hot confines of his previous location, though.

  • Shrek in OK! I found myself at Capulin Volcano, which is only 60 or so miles from the highest point in OK. Knowing that Shrek really wanted to see a new state, there was really no choice. {see lower left-hand side for Shrek)

Retrieve It from a Cache 6/3/2002 Nikan retrieved it from An Officer and a Gentleman Washington   Visit Log

Shrek didn't sit in the dark for long.

I apparently retrieved him just hours after he was placed. Although I don't think I can match the 1300+ miles of the last hop, I think I can get the Welcome to Washington sign and a Welcome to ??? sign from either Idaho or Oregon.

Well I'm off to plan an interstate geocaching trip for Shrek. 🙂

  • Dropping Shrek in Washington State Sorry, we flew in to Seattle and never saw any Welcome signs. We did enjoy visiting Port Townsend and droping Shrek off at a well visited state park.
