Current Goal

Hello, I’m Elvira, a black widow spider. I’m in a contest with a Mexican Red-Knee tarantula travel bug named Juanita. We are trying to see who can crawl in and out of the most caches in one year! We started our race on May 1, 2004, and we are counting our caches until May 1, 2005. After that, I can be returned to my home in Richfield, Utah, or can continue to roam. Thanks for moving me quickly to a high-traffic cache, so that I can be moved along again soon. Feel free to log me in and out of more than one cache if you can—it’s the number of caches that matters to me!

About This Item

My husband met an unfortunate death recently... Perhaps you could help me find another meal. Er, I mean male.

We grabbed Elvira from Parrot Lookout at 11:54am. It was a fun multi cache that had a great view. This was well hidden and turned into a neat little hike with Shiprock to the West and the snow covered La Plata's to the North. We will help Elvira on her way as she hunts for her next meal, mmm mate... Cash108 & Beetle

Found Elvira and Lost Power in this cache. Since Elvira is looking to log caches and Lost Power is looking for miles, we decided to move her along to another cache in a more populated area!
