After having this bug for a long time I moved it on..... However, I completed part of your goal. Look at the atttached picutures. I have included proof that the flag made it to the big toe. I have also included a few pictures of sculptures near the big toe. The artist that made the big toe lives about 2 miles away and donates many of his creations to the city. Most of his work is made from scrap metal. The elephant in the pictures was made from old lawn mower blades. Resourceful!!
Side note: The artists daugther is Karen Nyberg. Karen is an astronaut for NASA and flew on the space shuttle for the first time last year. She is going on a space walk early next year.
The picture of the Purlpe Palace is the local bar. If you have any time wait for their chicken, it is awesome! However plan ahead, on a Friday or Saturday is not uncommon to wait for over an hour for your food. Call ahead.
Sorry I have had your bug for sooooo long. I hope it was worth the wait. I dropped the bug off in the state park located a few miles away from Battle Lake.
