'Jing' the Blue Magpie is on a flight to as many countries as possible, but wants to get to South Australia to meet up with its owner by the end of 2010. Please help it get closer to Australia! Thanks

About This Item

The bird is named 'Jing' in honour of its original owner who gave it as a gift for persistence in 3 attempts at hunting THE MONKEY KING in Taiwan.

I began geocaching in Taiwan whilst sailing as Captain of the Doulos, so this coin has a special significance for me. Please take care of it and keep it moving.

    Cristo9FP and I wanted to get a picture of this coin when it was in a previous cache. When we brought our camera that day it had already been retreived.
    The other day it showed up in another cache we had not yet found so we made a lunch time trek to the new cache. The camera batteries died after we photographed the front side. When we tried to use a cell phone camera we were attacked by flying insects.
    There seems to be some anti-photography curse on this coin.🙂

    Went and had a look at this one in the grEAt Discovery cache before it was yoinked. One of the best GeoCoins I've seen yet. Very colourful and well designed. Hope it makes it back to Australia as requested.
