To reach "Travel Bug School Field Trip 2004-2005" in Wisconsin. We are racing another 6th grade class, so we need to hurry!

About This Item

Field Trip to Cheeseland

This ferry boat was released by Mr. Darragh's 6th grade class on October 8, 2004. We are racing Mr. Seavert's 7th period social studies class, WMS '04 - Washington State or Bust!. We want our ferry boat to get to Wisconsin and his cache before their travelbug arrives in Washington at our cache.

RULES:

1.) The travelbug must pass through a neighboring state. It cannot skip a state. For example, our ferry cannot jump over Idaho to get to Montana. It must stop at a cache in Idaho.
2.) An individual geocacher may only move the TB two times. This was added to add to the randomness and help prevent one person from moving them across country by momentarily placing it in a cache.

We will be keeping track of our Field Trip to Cheeseland and would really appreciate photos and stories and it floats along!

Moved "Field Trip..." to the edge of Western Washington this morning (sorry I could not take it further). I chose this cache for a few reasons. First, it will be an easy stop for anyone traveling East on I-90, a road that continues on to the Midwest.

Secondly, I wanted to leave this at an interesting cache - I like puzzle caches, especially by EraSeek, a very well respected cache hider in Snohomish County.

I'm a little worried: the campsite is closed; but the "Road Closed for winter season" gate is just 200ft from the cache location, so there should be no problem for someone to grab it. I was able to get it with my 2 year old and 5 year old today. Also, there is extra incentive to visit the cache as I also left what I believe is the first trackable Washington State GeoCoin.

Lastly, if anyone out there wants to visit the cache but can't solve the puzzle, send me an e-mail and I will give you a nudge.
