This coin was won by me in a cointest and its mission is to raise awareness of motorcycles on the road.
This coin and its mission are in memory of Tod Philips of Manitou Beach, MI. Todie was only 49 years old when his life was taken as a result of a motorcycle accident. He is missed by all, and especially by his best friend Rod. Rod's efforts to spread the awareness of motorcycles on the roads in Tod's memory is what has sparked this and many other coins to be sent out into the world.

Whenever you hear about someone being impaired while driving you naturally assume that they mean driving under the influence of alcohol. It is true that alcohol impairment is the most frequent type of impaired driving but there are many, many other situations that can also be considered impaired driving. Some of the other impairment situations are:
Illegal Drugs
Prescription Medications
OTC (Over The Counter) Medications
Driving while tired, fatigued or stressed
Most (if not all) of the above situations are choices that we as drivers make. If you choose to operate a motor vehicle while you are impaired you are not only endangering yourself, but you are endangering all other drivers/riders on the road and anyone else near the road you are travelling on.
It is up to all of us to help make our streets and highways safer places, so do your part and don't drive while you are impaired!
