My mission is to travel to Palestine, Texas to have my photo taken with the Angel on the Wind. This statue is the basis for the Silver Wings virtual cache (GCHCPM).

Todie's Wild Ride

This coin is part of The Bike Awareness Project initiated by Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his good friend Tod Phillips. On August 12, 2008, Tod was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was the third member of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. This coin is released in his memory and in memory of all motorcyclists killed on the road.

I've been aware of the dangers motorcycles face on the road ever since I was a kid.
When I was 11, my father got into a motorcycle accident, he spent almost 2 years in various hospitals before being able to come home. he spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair never being able to ride again and all because someone was in a hurry to pass him (in a no passing zone) and clipped his wheel as they went by.

On a happier note I'll be taking this coin with me this weekend to an event in Lincoln City, It'll get to see the Pacific ocean before being set free again.
