Chip is safe in a cache called Mississippi Corridor, in a park right by a dam that was once used as a power plant facility.

Grabbed Chip from near a very nice babbling brook. We knew about a couple of other caches in the area near a dam, however we (wrongly) assumed that he just came from there and didn't move him to the new location. He came back to the Cities with us, and our intention is to find him a spot down here. Looks like someone else had trouble finding a spot down here that he would fit in, so he just might wind back up on the Iron Range after all...I'll be back up in that neighborhood in three weeks :)

Sorry it took so long to find Chip a new home. We had a couple of possible places for him when Barb went up north. The better of the two was actually overlooking a dam, but we couldn't find the cache. His new home, however, is very close to a stream, so he should be happy. TFTTB.

Retrieve It from a Cache 5/15/2007 barjohn retrieved Chip the Eager Beaver from Door County Travel Bug Resort Wisconsin   [visit log]
Chip seemed lonely for a dam, so we'll take him (her?) somewhere on the Mississippi.

Update: Chip hasn't left yet because here in the Minneapolis metro area it's almost impossible to find a large enough container near a dam. We care enough about Chip that we're setting up a cache just for him. Had a good one located, but it's slightly too close to another cache.
