This chicken was picked up in "Visitor's Cache" in Mission Gorge, San Diego, California when I was on vacation there in late May of 2004. I decided to turn it into a travel bug and race against a bug I put out for my boss. I was explaining travel bugs and geocaching to her, and that's how this race came about.

I found a Travel Bug proxy (yellow piece of paper in a zip lock bag) in GC1B77: Troop 98 near Upper Echo Lake which is just outside Lake Tahoe, California. Don't know how it came to be there since the map shows the rubber chicken as having only been as close as Las Vegas. It's been almost three years since there was any activity with the TB. I'll watch this for a little while to see if there is any interest in my find.
