Current Goal

Decided to use this Geocoin to keep track of the caches I've DNFed. Strange mission for a geocoin, but it'll serve a purpose for it anyway.

My definition of a true DNF: For a DNF to be official, as I see it, it must meet the following 4 things.
A.) Arrived at the location of the cache (as in not just in the park/area)
B.) Made an effort to search for the cache, however short (Actually looked, not gone to the area and decided not to because of various issues).
C.) After Searching and not locating, gave up for reasons of time or sanity.
And most importantly,
D.) The cache was still hidden in the intended hider's location (not having been moved by another finder, destroyed, stolen, or otherwise not where it was supposed to be). After an attempt has met these criteria, I'll count it as an official DNF.

Another day, another DNF... I guess I'll try this one again in the fall.

Only one DNF today, not too bad I suppose. Having the cache description would have been handy on this one I guess.

Well once again I'm back not finding a cache. Of course, with this one, there was so much stinging nettle and mosquitoes that I just had to call the search off after a while. Sometimes you just have to know where your limit is. I'm sure it'll be a simple find in the fall, and much less painful.

My first DNF of a State Parks Geocaching Challenge Cache. And on the first day I started them, who would've guessed. Oh well, I've been back since to correct my error.

Actually, this is only a half DNF. Vandals had moved the final stage, along with a picnic table, out onto a lake. Regardless, I could have found it, if I had checked there.

Retrieve It from a Cache 4/6/2008 KC0GRN retrieved it from Boulder Wall TB Cache Minnesota   Visit Log

Another failed FTF attempt. Too many boulders, too much rain and not enough will to stick out there longer when you just don't know if it's there or not.

I'm not convinced this cache was there.. it's been DNFed alot...

Sometimes, it's better to DNF and live to tell the story. This particular story was about a lot of water from snow melt off surrounding a light pole with electrical stuff on it. Bad combination in my book, heh. I decided I wanted to live, I guess I'll just try at a different time.

This was my second time trying for this one. I guess some caches just give you more trouble than others. I will assume the coordinates are a little off on this one. It's a tough area to search for a small cache though.

The cache was confirmed to be there, sadly, I just couldn't conjure it up.
