Picked this one up on a warm October day. We weren't sure if we had all the "pieces" as we didn't see the Eagle until we looked a little closer. We thought maybe there was something attached to the D clip that had fallen off. Not to worry. Eveything is intact. Will move it on to another location soon.

I thought this might be a good location for the Eagle to continue his tour searching for high places. Good luck and send photos ... :-)

Within the next days, I will release the Eagle again ´a few miles western´ of its current location.

It´s likely that Eagle is found before I have the possibility to log him as dropped. So please don´t be confused, this is ok.

Greetings from Germany,
Bob der Finder.

Retrieve It from a Cache 9/11/2004 Bob der Finder retrieved it from Kenny in the Dunes Netherlands   Visit Log

After a really long walk in the night we found the Eagle at 03:40 am (!) in "Kenny in the dunes". Equipped with a flashlight, Osse finally discovered the ammocan in the sand. Though it was a nice hike it´s not recommended to go hunting for this one in the darkness...

After all, the Eagle has now gone from sea-level to about 120m altitude. I´ll find a nice location for him to continue his trip.

Thanks and greetings from Bob der Finder.

Wow, in my (fighter)pilot days I would have made him a member of the supersonic class, like it's namesake, the F-15.
Now however the best I can do here is put it on a dune? Pityful and disgraceful, I know, but maybe it'll be found by a team of Mount Everest climbers on climbing practice?
