About This Item

This object appeared on my lawn this Summer. How did it get there? Was it on a door in my house long ago, and did it somehow roll under the hedge to lie in the darkness for tens of years, until some burrowing animal rolled it free? Did one of my neighbors hurl it in a drunken rage at the head another of my neighbors, and miss? Did a child find it in a garbage heap and try to see the future in its crystal depths, until the day it worked its way out of a jeans pocket and into my yard?

Where is it from? Where is it going? AND WHAT DOES IT WANT?
