About This Item

Mr. Quackers

Mr. Quackers was issued this dogtag in February of 2023, beginning his mission with 8906 miles already showing on the odometer.  Hopefully he will enjoy a long life in the geocaching pond.

The dogtag was originally issued to the F-35 TB which entered service in 2007.  It disappeared while on a training mission in 2014.  After multiple  dubious reports of sightings over Germany in 2015 & 2016 (having never left the US), the aircraft was officially declared MIA in 2016.  Mr. Quackers is the reincarnation of that lost F-35.

Hallo lieber TB/Coin-Besitzer!

Write note 5/27/2015 Geoboater posted a note for it   Visit Log

This TB went missing several years ago from a cache in Iowa and has since been discovered many times by geocachers at events in Germany. Since it was never logged into a cache over there, I assume someone got hold of the code and is sharing it on a list without ever actually having the physical TB.
If a geocacher can confirm a physical sighting and (hopefully) either drop it in a cache or convince the person holding it to do so, that would be fabulous. Until such time any future logs will, regretably, be deleted.

Greetings from the coast of North Germany

[size=1](I notice, that I saw some TB/Coin codes without the permission of the owner. If it is so, then please delete my discover log. Sorry for the extra work. I love to watch the history and to discover TBs and Coins. But not at this way)
