did we hit jackpot on getting to see these really cool old coins at MOGA in Owensboro, KY.. These are the starting point for TBs and Geocoins. Maybe one day I'll be able to trade somebody for one. Sorry for the late log.

Sorry for the deletion of the last log, but it was made in error. This coin in not in North Carolina. There are many coins and other items with numbering, but that does not mean that everything with a given number is the item tracked with that number on Geocaching.com. My older coins are among the very first traveling items on Geocaching.com and used sequential numbers which are the source of this issue; you will note that nowadays everything tracked on the site - including my newer coins - use random alphanumeric codes for tracking instead in order to prevent confusion.

I am going to [b][red]lock[/red][/b] this coin so it can no longer be logged in error. If the current holder of the coin wishes to allow logs, please contact me and I will supply a replacement alphanumeric code.

I hope this explains things, and thank you for your understanding.
