The ultimate mission of the TB is to be put in a cache near one of the Normandy Beach Landing sites in France, and then make its way to a cache near Erfurt, Germany.
This is the brass fired from a German 9MM Luger Parabellum manufactured in 1917 at the Royal Factory in Erfurt, Germany. The uniqueness of this sidearm is that all parts are marked with a serial number and in this gun's case they all match.
Many Lugers these days are made up of many different Luger's parts(the numbers don't match).
My mother bought this weapon from one of my father's co-workers back in the 1960's for only $25.00. It is still in excellent working condition.
