About this item: Dinosgang on the run
You found me!! Now you can help me out. I am a contestant in the Great TB Race of 2009. In this race, I can earn points for various tasks that I complete. The more points I have, the closer I am to winning. The simplest way is to help move me to another cache, but I have more tasks that are worth more points. My mission is to win. Read on to find out how you can help.

So that I have the best chance of winning the race, please try to get me back out into the world quickly. The more I travel and meet people, the better my chances. Read on to learn more about how YOU can help.

As a contestant in the Great TB Race, I am eager to help my owner win. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, but the only way I'll get a prize is if I earn enough points before January 5th, 2010. Here is how you can help me get points:

If you would like more information about the race, where to find official checkpoint caches, or to keep up with how the race is going, then you can go to Trip's Geoadventures - The Great TB Race of 2009. There, you can get the rules of the race and find links to race news, stats, and more. Plus, you'll have an easy way to watch how your effort helps me win..

Please do not dip me into multiple caches. I will not gain extra points for the caches you dip me into and it affects some of the numbers used to calculate the standings.

Now, time to continue the race.....

We consider this TB as missing since the current holder has not placed it in a cache as he said he did. He claims it is in Alaska??

Picked up travel bug in Vancouver, WA. Placed in geocache on island in Alaska called Shemya (Eareckson Air Station). I work here and there is only on geocache on the island. We are a small speck near the end of the Aleutian islands just before Attu, which is the last US island in the chain. Happy travels.

Retrieve It from a Cache 6/7/2009 photoholic50 retrieved Dinosgang running in the Great TB race 2009 from Yreka TB hide out. California   [visit log]
I was visiting family in Etna, CA and hoped to have fun teaching my 6 year old nephew about Geocaching. After some shopping in Yreka we headed out and found YreakTB. Took awhile to find though with a 6 year old running around calling directions from the ever moving GPS. There were a lot of possibilities in that general area. Great location and wonderful job of camouflage. I was excited to find the Travel Bug and it was not until I returned home and began reading about this one's origin that we all really became excited.

It travelled across 2 state lines and a total of 332 miles. Glad to help in this process. I will be leaving it in a cache here in Vancouver the next couple of days. I look forward to tracking it the rest of the year.

Good Luck with the game.
