Current Goal

This travel slug coin is being released to help raise awareness that helmets save lives. Helmets should be used in any activity that includes wheels and concrete or ashphalt. This includes but is not limited to bike or motorcyles riding, skating, roller-blading, and skateboarding. Helmets should sit flat on your head and not tilted to front of back. Just a fact - in 3 out of every 4 bike crashes, there is some sort of injury to the head. Please include pictures of your helmet. Please move the coin so it can continue to raise helmet safety awareness.

    Todie's Wild Ride is safe. Grabbed this at the Spicin' it up in West Sac event in November but failed to log it—my apologies. It spent the winter in my geocache bag. It will be on the move shortly. I believe in helmets and wear a full face helmet when riding my scooter. Helmets prevented damage to my head, face and jaw on two separate incidents when they hit the ground while protecting my head from injury. I also wear a bicycle helmet when biking. Helmets do save lives. But helmets don't help me remember to keep track TB's in my geocaching bag.
