Waddles would particularly like to visit geocaches, close to fresh water, where creatures like himself may live. He'd also like to have his photo taken.
The Platypus is semi-aquatic mammal from Australia. It is so unusual that European scientists originally dismissed it as a case of elaborate fraud. They believed that the stuffed specimen had been made by a skillful taxidermist in Asia by sewing a duck's head onto some beaver like creature. It's attributes include a duck-billed head, beaver like tail and otter like feet. It is one of only two mammals that lays eggs rather than giving birth to live young.
In spite of his cute appearance the male platypus is also one of the few venomous mammals, capable of delivering serious pain to humans via his rear foot. Don't worry though as Waddles will not hurt you, provided you are kind to him and keep him moving between geocaches. In other words, don't steal him. :)
