Current Goal

If this geocoin is shown to you, please explain to the person that is showing it, this geocoin is not to be kept.
This geocoin is owned by me and it needs to be dropped in a geocache.
The purpose of this geocoin is to travel from cache to cache.
Thank you...

The goal of this coin is to spread the message of Bike Awareness, while travelling from cache to cache anywhere in the world.

Please don't use the "took it" to or "visited" option, just drop the geocoin in the next cache you visit that is save and big enough to hold coins.
Let others enjoy and log this geocoin too.
It is NOT the goal of this geocoin to make as much miles as possible, neither to keep track of all geocaches you have visited. Please use your own trackable to do so.

Please be careful to drop this coin at events. Those are high risk place to loose coins.

The above mentioned logs will be removed.
Thank you...

About This Item

Todie Joe Phillips

On August 12, 2008, Tod Phillips was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was the third member of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. This coin is released in his memory. The coin is part of the Bike Awareness project, started by Rockin Roddy.

Inattention, inexperience, fatigue, drugs, alcohol, insufficient maintenance, bad weather conditions, speeding and illegal manoeuvres are given reasons for causing accidents. YOU have the power to do something to control each of these factors. Give a good example while riding/driving your self. Practice what you have learned in your driving lessons and from your experience. Ride/drive save and in a defensive, anticipating style. Check your mirrors and watch for the more vulnerable travic participants.
Start a discussion and make people aware they can help save lives. Imagine what the effect of spreading this message can be.

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 4/3/2010 Sivota grabbed it   Visit Log

Really a coincidence a retrieved this coin today, as yesterday when I was travelling I got a phone call from my youngest son (17) that he was hit on his, just 7 days old, bike by a bus.
Bike wrakked, but luckily no major injuries for my son.
Coin wil travel soon again
