Current Goal

This Trackable Item is participating in a private race against "Australia Race Travel Bug" and needs to get back to the owner. In order to do so, the following steps are necessary:

  • Reaching an international airport somewhere in Australia ✔
  • Taking a ride to some country in Europe, except Germany for now ✔
  • Returning to Germany via an Inter European flight ✔
  • Finding a way to the town of Ulm, which is in the South of Germany ✔
  • Meeting up with the owner somewhere in the area of Ulm ✔

About This Item

Sailing Boat

This was my second trip to Australia. Together with a friend I have been down under in fall 2009. We started the trip in Perth and continued to Alice Springs. Afterwards we visited Adelaide and took the train to Melbourne. From there we crossed over to Tasmania by airplane, as the ferry was completely booked out for several days. After a good while on the island, our final stopover was Sydney where our return flight to Germany was leaving. To perfect our vacations, we decided to arrange this Trackable Item race on Geocaching.

Heute, nach einer fast 5 Jahre langen Reise konnte ich meine Segelboot Coin tatsächlich wieder in den Händen halten. Damit hatte ich wirklich nicht mehr gerechnet, zumal all meine bisherigen Trackables irgendwann verschwunden sind. Vielen, vielen Dank an alle Cacher die das ermöglicht haben, insbesondere an VKJL für den entscheidenden, letzten Hüpfer zu mir.
