Current Goal

The ancient bards tell of a mystical coin, crafted by the artisan Amberel for the court of Hroðgar. As a reward for ridding his realm of a terrifying monster and its evil mother, Hroðgar awarded the coin to the conquering hero from Geatland. However, in later years this coin was lost to a rampaging Wyrm, which added the coin to its underground hoard of treasure.

Heroes occasionally come in search of the Wyrm's treasure and seek out this coin. However, out of respect for that first Geatish hero, all are requested please to leave Hroðgar's coin for future adventurers to discover — if it ever were taken, the Wyrm's fury knows no bounds [:D]

Along the lines of the residential geocoin of Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate, discovery of this coin isn't quite as straightforward as you'd expect, although it isn't as much extra effort as Charon's Obol! When you have found the Wyrm's treasure, simply drop down another 6 feet or so — do not go down any further! — and have a look around. No special equipment is required, just a keen eye. Please replace exactly as found.

Yes, sorry about that Mark, though I thought I was standing only on his wellied leg, an accident, to make space for a third body to descend to the cache zone.
This may be my first amberel coin.
