I am Serket - The Travel Bug! Please help me on my travels. I like hot sandy desert areas and I especially like to hide under rocks, in debris, in bark and crawl spaces.
We Scorpions are predatory arthropod animals of the order Scorpiones within the class Arachnida. We have eight legs and are easily recognized by the pair of grasping claws and the narrow, segmented tail, often carried in a characteristic forward curve over the back, ending with a venomous stinger.
You might think scorpions are scary as we have a reputation as venomous, however only about 25 species have venom capable of killing a human being.
Fried scorpion is a traditional dish from Shangdong in China, however please don’t eat me or I wont get very far on my travels!
